You could lower their stability to -30, and still have a their demands completly fully. The pirate and Luddic Path stations always get reestocked inmideatly. Why? Because no matter what happens, the station doesn´t run out of comodity units. Raiding its not only good in this new version, its almost broken. That, and raiding pirates or Luddic Path stations with a big marine company. Trade contracts, buying excess and sell it to those who would needs it, and exploration contracts. Some times they might come abord and wreck your ship for the lols, thou, so if they do this, i suggest you to run. If you get spot by patrols and pursue you, you might get caught and get a cargo scan, you will loose everything that its classified as illegal in that system. One last advice, get a cargo shielded ship. You can set the hotkeys there to choose what weapons will you be using, wich ones work at the same time, which ones alternate its use with another, and which ones you can pre set as automatic, and such.
Its one of the buttoms on the ships refit screen. One more thing, check the weapon group options. Some are literal hot garbage, waiting to fall to a planets surface and don't do anything, but others despite being completly looted there is still life support and storage units working, letting you store ships, items, and people, without having to pay storage taxes. Oh, also, check out some of the derelict stations in the core worlds if you are starting the game and don't own a colony yet. You can also do exploration contracs, keep all the good stuff you find, and sell the rest, but try to carry more than you can, if you fell like you got enough, then thats it and go home. Do it trought the black market and you might even do more cash, but if there are patrols near by, you might get in trouble. Buy shit for cheap, and sell it to the highest bidder in the market. Babysit it for a bit until it has a battlestation, then let it develop on its own.īe like a hot blooded merchant, my dear goy.
That will give you enough money to start your own colony.
Satisfied demand on one colony - go to next one. Sell to different pirates and pather colonies that still have local deficit, and only until their deficit is satisfied, not more. 8k supplies each run will net you around a million credits in slightly less than 2 month, and can be done multiple times with the same station.
Before you start raiding, try to clear out pirate patrols (you can't raid stations that are protected by patrols), preferably outside the stations detection range (otherwise you might have to fight the station too, which isn't what you want to do since destroying the station destroys the colony alltogether). If you have enough cargo capacity (i recommend at least 8k), raid them multiple times (but wait 4 days between raids, otherwise their ground defense goes up, loses you more marines that you'll have to buy) until your cargo holds are full, raid once more for fuel to get back to core systems. The easiest way to get some fast is to raid non-permanent pirate bases for supplies (buy marines from core systems pirates, they always have surplus, about 500 or so, less if you have some Colossi mk.III or valkyries) repetitively and then sell them to back to core pirates and pathers. Since you are short on money right now (400k doesn't sound like much), you may want to generate some more.
